Your concessionary bus pass and social media
We are aware of a potential scam on various social media sites. This claims that concessionary bus passes need to be re-applied for. This is not the case, please disregard anything you see saying this.
If there are changes to the scheme or your pass we would contact you by post, but only when it is necessary to do so. Where we have your email we may also send you an official gov.uk email as well.
Eligible older or disabled people are entitled to free travel on local buses throughout England. You will need a bus pass, which must be shown to the bus driver on each journey.
