Information for families
The Family Information Service gives free help and advice for families with children. We can help with childcare, health, family services, school, and keeping children safe. Families can get trusted help all in one place. More information is below.
Childcare
Find advice about childcare funding, support for carers, and childcare for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Family Hubs
Family Hubs are friendly places in your area that offer support to children, young people, and families. They are safe spaces where children can play, make friends, and learn new things.
Family Hubs focus on young children (ages 0 to 5). They help parents and carers give children the best start in life.
For older children and teenagers, Youth Hubs give fun activities, advice, and support in a safe place.
