Starting on Monday 24 November 2025, you must book a slot in advance before visiting a tip. The easiest way is to book a visit online.
You can book a visit for the same day, and up to 14 days in advance.

We accept general household waste and recycling at our sites. No trade waste is permitted.

You don't need to book a visit until Monday 24 November 2025. If you are planning ahead, you can book your timeslot from Monday 10 November. You can book online or by phone.

Chemicals
Small amounts of household chemicals will be accepted in sealed and clearly labelled containers.
Examples include garden weedkiller and pesticide, bleach, white spirit.

Clothes/shoes
Clothes, shoes, handbags and belts are accepted for recycling.
We do not recycle bedding, sheets, duvets and pillows. Put them in general household waste bin.

Electrical goods
All electrical devices from home are accepted for recycling. This includes:
- white goods such as cookers, fridges, freezers, dishwashers, washing machines and tumble dryers and
- TVs, monitors and laptops
- small kitchen appliances such as kettles, toasters, blenders and microwaves
- personal care products such as hairdryers, straighteners, electric toothbrushes and shavers
- technology such as radios, CD/DVD players, electronic toys and games, telephones, mobile phones, printers and cameras
- garden or DIY tools such as electric lawn mowers, strimmers, shredders, drills and power tools
- other items such as electric lamps, torches, Christmas tree lights, vacuum cleaners, irons, and smoke alarms
- Engine oil
- Fluorescent tubes/energy saving bulbs
- Fridges/freezers
- Furniture
- Green garden waste/Christmas trees

Hardcore/rubble - charges apply
Includes stonework, bricks, rock, clay, sand, gravel, tarmac, concrete, paving slabs, tiles, ceramic bathroom fittings and more.
Residents can dispose of small amounts of hardcore/rubble. Charges apply to any waste over the free allowance.

Visiting our site
All users must book in advance from 24 November 2025. Cars are allowed at all tips. Restrictions apply to other vehicles.
- Van restrictions
Vans on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays only. Limits on weight and type of van allowed. - Vehicle height limit 2 metres
- Trailers up to 1.2 metres long
- Cyclists and pedestrians
