You must now book a visit before you go to our recycling sites (tips). The easiest way is to book online.
You can book the same day or up to 14 days ahead. See site rules and how to book.
We do not collect rubbish or recycling from your home.
Ask your district or borough council about these services:
- bin day calendar
- rubbish, recycling and garden waste bins
- missed bin collection
- new or replacement bins
- clinical waste collections
- bulky waste collection (large items such as furniture or fridge)
- clearing litter or fly-tipping
- neighbourhood recycling points
From April 2026, they will also run food waste collections across East Sussex. This service is already available in Lewes district.
