Using your bus pass
March 2026 renewals
- If you have moved tell us about a change, the deadline for telling us is 28 February 2026. Passes may be sent to the wrong address if you have not notified us and there may be a charge for replacement.
- Older Person’s bus pass - normally automatically renewed. They may not be renewed automatically if your pass is not scanned locally between 1 March 2025 and 01 March 2026. If you haven’t received a pass or a renewal letter 2-3 weeks before renewal you can try to renew online or contact us if you are unable to do so.
- Disabled person’s bus pass renewals - letters are being sent for customers do not have automatic renewals agreed, but you can renew online without a letter. If you haven’t received a pass or a renewal letter 2-3 weeks before renewal you can try to renew online or contact us if you are unable to do so.
Eligible older or disabled people are entitled to free travel on local buses throughout England. You will need a bus pass, which must be shown to the bus driver on each journey.
