How to pay our invoices when we arrange your support

Cheque and cash payments are not accepted

We no longer accept cash or cheque payments. The easiest way to pay is by direct debit. You can also pay online or over the phone using a debit card.

If we arrange your care and support then we will send you an invoice showing how much you have to pay us. We will normally send you an invoice every 4 weeks. We prefer to be paid by Direct Debit.

If you have a question about your invoice or payment please phone the number shown at the top of the invoice.

How to pay your invoice

There are several ways to pay. These options are also shown on the back of your invoice.

Direct Debit

A Direct Debit is an instruction from you to your bank or building society, authorising an organisation to regularly collect payments direct from your account.

Download a Direct Debit form:

You can send this form by email or post. Details are on the form.

Online

It is quick and easy to pay online:

Bank transfer

You can instruct your bank to make a payment using the East Sussex County Council bank details:

Sort code: 60–13–09
Account number: 04246004

Ask your bank to quote your unique customer number and the invoice number with your payment.

By phone using a debit card

Phone 01273 481 280 to pay your invoice by debit card.

We are open 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4.30pm on Friday.

You will need to quote your account number and invoice number.

Standing order

This is an instruction from you to your bank or building society, authorising them to regularly pay a fixed amount to an organisation. If the amount you owe changes, it's your responsibility to make the change with your bank.
