The adult social care strategy 2023 will help our clients, their families, their carers and our staff know what to expect from adult social care.

How we made this strategy

Before we started writing the strategy, we needed to find out what local people would like us to focus on.

More than 500 people who live in East Sussex answered the questions in our surveys.

Their answers have helped us find out

  • how people want to be supported to live well in East Sussex

  • what matters most to people in East Sussex.

A group of people who live in East Sussex, called the Citizens Panel, have helped us look at everybody’s answers.

We will work on making sure that people’s experience of assessments and support is personal to them.
