6. Prioritised action plan

Overview

The EqIA will be regularly reviewed alongside the LTP4 Strategy and Investment Plan throughout the timescales of both documents. As part of the reviews the content in this document will be updated as appropriate and emerging actions will be undertaken as appropriate.

The LTP4 EqIA has identified a number of opportunities to make transport design, consultation and delivery better for all users. Many of these opportunities can be realised through the subsequent work and guidance of other policies and scheme development. This LTP4 EqIA is intended to be a starting and initial point of reference for individual scheme and other policies (as appropriate) EqIAs as they are developed. The LTP4 Strategy sets the framework and direction for future projects. As specific projects and activities are planned, developed and implemented, the findings of this EqIA will be applied and embedded in each, as relevant.

Continued engagement with people on the East Sussex LTP4 and individual schemes EqIAs to ensure they represent the challenges, issues and opportunities of these groups and to ensure the right actions have been prioritised. Continued engagement should take place over the timescales of the plan.

Engagement could take the form of collaborative co-design and engagement consultation activities (including surveys, drop-in sessions etc.).
