Hastings Borough bus service changes

Changes to services in Hastings Borough: Temporary changes due to works

6-week closure - Please note that the A2100 Battle Hill, Battle will be closed for gas mains repairs from Monday 1 September to Wednesday 8 October.

Temporary timetables for routes 1066, 95 and 384.

Buses will be required to take a longer route between Hastings and Battle Abbey during this period, with the possibility of more delays due to traffic congestion.

Please click on the service number to be taken to each of the temporary Stagecoach timetables (please note these are PDFs): 95  384  1066. There are timing changes to service 329 too.

Passengers in the Telham and Beauport areas, who normally use the 95 or 1066, should see Flexibus for a possible alternative. Flexibus can be booked (subject to availability) to Conquest Hospital, from where there is a regular bus service for onward travel to Hastings.
For Flexibus information visit the Flexibus website, or call 01273 078203.

Whilst the 95 and 1066 are unable to serve the Beauport area, a limited number of spaces will be available on a ‘closed door’ service from the ‘Stonebeach Rise’ bus stop to Claverham Community College. Any parent/guardian whose child lives in the area and would normally pay fares to travel on one of those routes should send their child’s details to: mainstream-transport.cts@eastsussex.gov.uk if they would be interested in pursuing this option.

West Hill Road will be closed from Monday 1st September until Sunday 14th September due to a new sewer installation.

As a result of this road closure, Services 323 & 323B will be diverted as follows:

Towards Harley Shute from St John’s Church divert via Upper Maze Hill, Filsham Road and St Vincent’s Road resuming normal line of route from TK Maxx.

Towards the Town Centre from TK Maxx divert via St Vincent’s Road, Filsham Road and Upper Maze Hill resuming normal line of route from St John’s Church.
