For general consumer advice and to complain about problems with goods and services, please contact Citizens Advice consumer service.
Their helpline is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm – phone them on 03454 04 05 06.
If your complaint is about a business in East Sussex (excluding Brighton & Hove) and can’t be dealt with by the helpline, your call will be transferred to our Trading Standards service.
We can help you with:

- demand refunds, replacements or apologies from traders or close them down
- take court action on your behalf
- pursue an unjustifiable complaint
- divulge trader information.
