Councillors' financial interests, allowances and expenses
Councillors are required to register their financial and other interests within 28 days of their election or appointment to office. These details are held on a register maintained by the Council’s Monitoring Officer.
Information they are required to provide includes:
- Details of any employment or business interests;
- A description of any contracts made between the Council and councillor, or any business that they have a financial connection with;
- Membership of charities, trade associations and other associations.
