Rother review 3
Information and updates about the Rother parking review which began in March 2025.
Current stage
Apart from zone F, this review is complete.
Zone F update
An error with advertising the parking charges for zone F meant that we needed to consult on the paid parking charges before the zone can come into effect. The Rother Parking Review 3 - Zone F tariffs consultation closed on 31 July 2026. All the responses have been considered and will be reported to Planning Committee meeting on 9 September 2026. A start date for zone F will be available after the planning committee meeting.
In the meantime, the parking signs in zone F have been covered to avoid any confusion. A map is available of the new zone F and the existing zones [888.1 KB] [pdf].
Rother review 4
Information and updates about the Rother parking review which began in May 2026.
Current stage
Stage 1 - Prioritisation. All the requests received up to 30 April 2026 have been assessed and prioritised. The Rother review priority ranking list [116.7 KB] [pdf] shows the locations and restrictions we received requests for and if they are being taken forward to Stage 2 – Informal consultation.
