Theatre Tax Relief Cashflow Loans UK not-for-profit theatre organisations can now apply for our loans to cashflow TTR claims. The loans are intended to contribute to the financial resilience of the subsidised theatre sector, enabling borrowers to focus on delivering their strategic objectives rather than short-term cash management.
Backstage Trust is a small trust which offers financial support with a focus on the performing arts, particularly theatre and music. As with all charitable trusts Backstage can only make grants to registered charities, Community Interest Companies, or support activities which have clear charitable aims. Please note that the trust cannot directly fund individuals or pay training fees. There is no website but information can be found here and if you google Backstage Trust you will find their downloadable application form. Responses to applications should be turned round in six weeks.
Film
DOC SOCIETY Funds Grants in the region of £20,000 are available to support independent filmmakers and artists making documentary projects that would not be commissioned by a UK broadcaster. The Foundation also helps filmmakers in other ways, such as arranging mentoring, offering advice, and additional funding to ensure that films get seen by the right people once they are completed.

Purple Guide Grants The Event Industry Forum has opened its applications for grants for projects that will benefit the outdoor events industry. Previous successful grants have included a three-year funding support for a vision to a sustainable industry and funding for training to help increase the accessibility of events. Find out more about the grant guidelines and apply here.
The Board welcomes applications for grants and will generally consider these twice a year, in March and October.
