Please be aware that our application system for school place, free school meals and early years childcare will be unavailable between 10:00-14:00 on Wednesday 18 February.

Our role is to: 

  • allocate primary and secondary school places at community and controlled schools 
  • coordinate admissions at ages 4, 7 and 11 
  • decide eligibility for school transport to mainstream schools 
  • process claims for free school meals
