Opioid overdose first aid training
Change, Grow, Live (CGL) run overdose first aid training.
This simple and quick online course will show you how to recognise an opioid / heroin overdose and give lifesaving first aid.
Who can attend
These sessions are designed for:
- outreach workers
- anyone using opiate-based medications or heroin
- a carer, a friend or relative of a drug user
- hostel managers
- local business owners
- people working in an environment where there is a risk of opiate overdose
However, anyone can take part.
What you will receive
As a thank you for taking part in the training, we will give you a free first aid kit, and a window sticker to display to show that Nyxoid is available to use in an emergency.
You will also receive a:
- digital certificate from Change, Grow, Live (CGL)
- survey to complete from East Sussex County Council, with details of how to collect your Nyxoid spray, first aid kit and window sticker
To collect your items, make a copy of your certificate and bring it along with proof of employment to either:
