The Kinship Team understands the importance of carers. To help you, we offer:
- a special team to give you advice and help you with your questions
- lots of training opportunities you can join
- support with access to the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF) for therapeutic support ( if eligible)
- advice about money and support with finances
- six months of help from a Kinship Keyworker if you are a new carer
- extra help from a Keyworker if your family is having problems
- a newsletter for kinship carers every month
- a mailing list to keep you up to date with events, news, and training that you can join
- support groups for carers in East Sussex
