Fostering information events
Online and face-to-face information events
People often say it took them a few years from thinking about fostering to taking the next step to apply to become a foster carer. It is such an important decision.
We offer regular information sessions so you can find out all the accurate and up-to-date information you need to know including the various types of fostering, the processes, support, training and payments.
You can join an online session one lunchtime or evening using your smartphone or tablet from the comfort of your own home - or our team can give you a call when it suits you for an initial chat. Just send us your contact details on our website ENQUIRY FORM and we'll get in touch.
We visit locations across East Sussex too. Staff and Recruitment Ambassadors are there to chat and answer your questions. We will add dates and times below throughout the year.

- 'Everything' film clip
It means 'everything'
The film clip above follows characters, Will and Zara, as they are welcomed as children into foster carer Mike's home with his family, and when they return years later as adults to celebrate Mike's birthday. They are surrounded by memories of their fostering experience.
See how long term relationships are maintained even after a fostered young person 'moves on' to their next chapter - watch the full film here (4 minutes long)
