Portfolio plans

Each Cabinet member has a designated area of responsibility that is called a portfolio.

Portfolio plans provide the main direction for our services over the next three years, and say how we will deliver our four priority outcomes. They also describe key risks, and how we are going to respond to the financial and policy challenges.

Work on these plans began before the Coronavirus developed in the UK, so much of the wording and many of the targets in them may need to be changed in due course to reflect the current circumstances. We will update the plans in the coming months once there is further clarity on the effect the response to the virus has had on Council services.

The key targets from each Portfolio plan are then brought together into one document – the Council Plan.
