Where can I go?
Flexibus covers 90% of East Sussex, plus some key destinations just outside the county, like transport hubs and hospitals.
Flexibus travel area
You can travel:
- within a 9 mile radius of your pick-up point
- along routes not already served by a direct bus
You can't travel:
- further than the 9 mile radius
- outside the Flexibus service area
Longer journeys:
The new Flexibus system provides clearer and more effective journey planning. If you need to make a longer trip or reach a location outside of the service area, it can suggest a combined journey using scheduled services and Flexibus if available.
Journey planning is only a guide and you should allow yourself good time to make connections. Please ensure you have checked the journey you have booked.
Pick-up points
If you can, we recommend walking to a nearby pick-up point, such as a bus stop or landmark as:
- buses may struggle with narrow roads and cul-de-sacs.
- some addresses within walking distance of a bus stop may not be covered.
This also helps make the service more efficient for all users and helps the drivers.
