Hookstead

Home to Crowborough Register Office, Hookstead is close to the Ashdown Forest on the East Sussex and Kent border. Ceremonies take place in the fully accessible Mackenzie Room which can accommodate up to 38 guests. 

There are no changing facilities at the register office, you and your guests should arrive dressed and ready for the ceremony.

Room capacities include everyone except the registrars, the couple, all guests including witnesses, children and babies, photographers, videographers and musicians. The capacities are determined by fire regulations and cannot be exceeded. 

Fees

Crowborough Register Office ceremony fees include hire of the ceremony room, your registrars, two legal certificates and one commemorative certificate.

To book a ceremony at Crowborough Register Office, call the Ceremonies Hub on 0345 60 80 198.

  • Ceremonies take place Monday to Saturday (excluding bank and public holidays)
  • Bookings can be be made up to 3 years ahead
  • Fees are payable in full at the time of booking
