This privacy notice covers businesses that have opted to receive marketing emails from the East Sussex Trading Standards team.

Our staff are trained to handle your information correctly and protect your confidentiality and privacy.
Your information is processed in the UK or in a country with an adequacy agreement with the UK.
What is the legal basis for processing your information?
We need your email address to send you the updates that you have asked to receive.
Your consent will be requested to process your data when you first subscribe to our email updates. You can opt out at any point and your information will no longer be held by us.
How long will your information be kept for?
We will keep your data until:
- you unsubscribe
- we no longer send updates from the topic you are subscribed to.
You can opt out of receiving marketing emails from us at any point by emailing “Opt out” to TSS Events.

Your data will only be used by East Sussex County Council for the purposes of keeping you up to date with the topic that you have subscribed to.
