Rights of Way Improvement Plan Review

We are currently carrying out a review of our Rights of Way Improvement Plan (ROWIP). During 2019 we carried out an initial consultation with key user groups and interested parties, in order to then draw up our draft ROWIP. We are aiming to publish the draft ROWIP for formal consultation in late 2020. The final plan is expected to then be published during 2021.

The ROWIP sets out the County Council’s plans to improve our public rights of way network and access to the countryside. We have a duty to review the plan every ten years.

If you wish to find out more or be involved in the initial consultation process, please contact rightsofway@eastsussex.gov.uk

Further details will be published on this page as the review progresses.
