Hours of work: 15.83 plus 5hrs MDSA hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

Willingdon Primary School is looking to recruit a highly motivated and committed Teaching Assistant 3 for a permanent term time only role from 8.50am to 12.00pm.

The role will be in a Key Stage 1 Classroom and will include all aspects of school life, including playtime break duties. Alongside this contract, we also require a lunch time duty to be worked under a separate MDSA contract between 12-1pm.

You should be able to build strong positive relationships with children, staff and parents. You will be part of a team of dedicated, motivated staff working hard to achieve the best outcomes for our children. You will be required to provide class cover as per the job description and work with small groups of children delivering targeted interventions. Knowledge of Phonics would be advantageous.

Experience of working with primary school aged children in a range of contexts is a must and you must have a good level of literacy and mathematical skills.
