Rubbish and recycling

Due to the temporary closure of Tunbridge Wells household waste site from 18 September, the Crowborough and Wadhurst waste sites may be busier than usual over the next few months. The nearest alternative sites for East Sussex residents are Maresfield, Heathfield, Mountfield or Forest Row (Fri-Sun). Kent residents are being directed to use Sevenoaks, Maidstone or Ashford waste sites.

Heathfield household waste recycling site will be shut on Thursday 14 December whilst essential improvements are carried out, and will reopen as usual the following day at 8am. The next nearest household waste recycling sites are Maresfield and Mountfield.
