District and Borough council elections
District and Borough council elections for Eastbourne, Lewes, Rother and Wealden took place on 2 May 2019. Results are published on the relevant websites below.

Hastings Borough Council
Hastings Borough Council elections are held every two years for half of the Council.
The last local election for Hastings was held on 3 May 2018.
Following boundary changes in 2016 to 17 ALL seats were contested in 2018. The winning candidates will serve for four years; the candidates in second place should have retired in 2020, but the elections were deferred until 2021. The successful candidates in the re-scheduled election will serve for 3 years until 2024. The pattern of bi-annual elections for half the seats will continue from 2022.
