Planning for your future
What is the Life Transitions service?
The future can feel uncertain, but you don’t have to face it alone.
The Life Transitions service offers tailored support from trained volunteers. We can help if you are facing changes with your:
- health
- family
- work
- social life
We will help you explore what’s ahead and reflect on what matters most.
Who we help
We work with people aged over 40 who live in East Sussex (except Brighton and Hove)
What we offer
- Free, confidential and non-judgemental one-to-one chats with a volunteer.
- Space to reflect, plan and take control of your future.
- Someone to celebrate your successes with.
- Support to overcome obstacles.
- A toolkit of skills that help you plan and feel prepared.
Our volunteers are not experts in any particular life change. We can help you identify what sort of services may be helpful and encourage you to access them.
We do not offer counselling or befriending.
I felt listened to and the sessions allowed me to focus on my needs.
