N+P in East Sussex Fund

The N+P in East Sussex Fund has over £30,000 to donate to community projects. The current round of grant funding is open. Deadline for applications is 27 June 2025.

Application Criteria

We will consider applications based on the following criteria:

  • environmental sustainability

  • community involvement

  • local need

  • value for money

  • seeking funding from £50 up to a maximum of £5,000

  • project can be delivered by October 2026

Successful applications will be those which:

  • show community participation and benefit

  • demonstrate social inclusion and breadth of engagement

  • deliver a strong benefit for the area through jobs, training, and skills.

  • are long-term, self sustaining projects

Exclusions

Projects must be located inside the administrative area of the county council. 

Applicants should be aware that we will not provide funding for the following:

  • staffing or salary costs, or course leader fees

  • maintenance

  • project running costs such as rental of a venue, or travel to and from, or refreshments

  • construction of new buildings

  • projects where a statutory duty applies (for example services run by the local council)

  • individuals seeking sponsorship donations for charitable events (such as fun runs or sky dives)

  • projects seeking more than £5,000 funding from the N+P in East Sussex Fund

  • projects that cannot be delivered by October 2026

Application Process

Organisations that want to apply for funding for suitable community projects should complete the application form and submit it to npineastsussex@npgroup.com. The latest funding round closes on 27 June 2025. 

Evaluation Process

The N+P in East Sussex Board includes representatives of N&P Crayford MRF Ltd and East Sussex County Council. They will appraise the current round of applications over the summer and applicants will be advised of the outcome by the end of August 2025. Funding to successful projects will be provided by the end of September 2025.
