Responsible for developing the Local Transport Plan, plus other strategies including accessibility, cycling and rail. They work with national and regional organisations to work towards improvements to the County’s transport infrastructure.

Transport strategy
The Transport Strategy team works with local communities and key stakeholders to develop local area transport strategies (LATS) which form part of the Local Transport Plan. Through the LATS, we implement a wide range of sustainable transport schemes and initiatives to improve travel choice across the County.
