East Sussex Children's Book Award

This annual book award is presented by East Sussex Library and Information Service.

Children whose schools have signed up to take part in the award have the chance to vote for their favourite fiction book from a shortlist.

And the winner is…

We are delighted to announce that the winner of the 2019 Book Award is ‘The Jewelled Jaguar’ by Sharon Tregenza.

We are very grateful to Sharon Tregenza, Ally Sherrick and Sharon Cohen for attending our final event and making it such a special occasion for the children.

Thank you to all the schools who came a long to our final event and to those children who performed for us.

You can find more great books to read from East Sussex libraries by searching our catalogue, whether you enjoy stories or information, eBooks or eAudio books, there’s plenty of choice!
