Are you ready to support people to build on their strengths, enabling them to live full lives within the community and remain as independent as possible?

If you are, then we have an exciting opportunity for two full time Resource Officer, to join the Adult Social Care, Countywide Reviewing Team. 

Your role will be to undertake Care Act (2014) compliant reviews and re-assessments. You will need to be confident and competent in working in a multidisciplinary way, assessing risk, undertaking mental capacity assessments, have knowledge of Safeguarding Adults practice and be willing to develop in these areas. You will have the ability to work flexibly, work to deadlines, to contribute to key projects and to the success of this high achieving team.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have working knowledge and understanding of The Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005,
  • Have communication skills,
  • Are committed to training and personal development,
  • Can meet the travel requirements of a team who work across the County of East Sussex,


The part you play will ensure our service continues to develop, giving positive outcomes for vulnerable people who have been assessed as meeting the Adult Social Care Eligibility Criteria.

Our flexible working arrangements allow for a mix of being home and office based throughout the week.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
