If you are, you might be well-suited to the role of Assistant Resource Officer in the Sensory Impairment and Reablement Team in East Sussex.

The Sensory Impairment and Reablement Team is a small countywide team working with adults who have hearing or sight loss, are from the Deaf community, or are deafblind. We aim to assist people to enable them to lead as full and independent lives as possible.

The role of the Assistant Resource Officer is to complete sensory assessments, prescribe specialist equipment and reablement support, and provide guidance and signposting.

We are looking for someone who has an interest in working with adults with sensory needs, is keen to learn, is a great communicator, is well-organised, and enjoys working independently as well as being part of a team.

In return for your commitment, we offer a comprehensive induction programme, ongoing training and development opportunities, regular supervision, and support from an experienced management team.

Starting salary: £26,539 - £27,196 per annum (increasing to £27,861 - £29,783 dependent on responsibilities.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
