Are you a conscientious, organised, and confident administrator?

As a Senior Business Administrator for Adult Social Care Eastbourne & Conquest Hospital Community Discharge Team based at Eastbourne District General Hospital you will be responsible for processing new referrals, answering phone calls, taking minutes at Safeguarding Adults meetings and general administration duties. You will work as part of a team of administrators and will receive excellent support and training.

Applicants are not expected to have a detailed knowledge of Council services or teams, as full training will be provided but must be able to accurately input and record information and manage a busy workload. Applicants with any relevant customer service and administration experience are encouraged to apply. Evidence of experience can be through work, volunteering, or personal pursuits. Applicants are encouraged to look at the requirements listed on the person specification and write their application with these in mind.

Our Administrators play a key role in supporting East Sussex County Council - helping us to provide a better service to the people of East Sussex. It's a fast paced and varied role, but we'll make sure that you get all the training and support you need to succeed.  We are looking for candidates who

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
