St Mary’s School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic therapist with demonstrable interest in, or experience of, working with pupils with complex speech, language and communication needs.

St Mary’s school is a non-maintained residential SEN school that meets the needs of a wide range of pupils from KS2 to KS5 with SEND. Our pupils are a delight to work with and we have a highly positive staff team.

You will be member of a multidisciplinary staff team, responsible for assessing, planning and delivering individualised intervention programmes for a defined caseload. You will work with children individually or in small groups within classroom-based sessions and specialist therapy spaces to enable pupils to access the curriculum and promote meaningful engagement in school based tasks. You may also be responsible for line management for OT assistants and the delivery of staff training.

HCPC and RCOT registration is essential.  Experience of working in an educational setting

is desirable.  NQP therapists are welcome to apply.

Term time only part-time hours. Salary range: FTE £25'682 - £30'668, Band 5 Therapy Pay scale (pro rata salary dependent on hours, skills and experience).
