The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.  Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

 Nursery Educator  -  Rye Community Primary School

Our school, Rye Community Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and adaptable Nursery Educator to join us for 37 hours per week, Term-Time Only (39 weeks per year) from September 2022. Salary pro-rata to reflect working weeks.

We welcome applications from Early Careers Teachers looking for their first
placement in schools.

Our ideal candidate will:

Hold Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education & Care 

  • Be an excellent Practitioner with experience of working in an early years setting desirable
  • Have a love of the profession and desire and ability to convey this to the children
  • Be enthusiastic, energetic and open to innovation
  • Possess effective communication skills and be emotionally intelligent
  • Possess effective ICT skills and be open to new uses of technology in the
  • workplace
  • Be committed to extra-curricular activities including lunch time activities
  • Be committed to continuing professional learning
  • Have integrity, optimism and a good sense of humour

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.

Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
