Do you have a passion for Community and Engagement Provision?

An opportunity has arisen in the Progression Studies Faculty as the Co-ordinator of Community and Engagement Provision. This is an ideal role if you are passionate about raising awareness of and increasing provision for some of the most deserving people in the local community.

You will be co-ordinating courses cross-College and within the community. This includes courses for Adults with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities, Adult Community Learning, programmes to support Mental Health and Well Being and courses to support Parents. It is essential that you can maintain and forge new partnerships in the community as well as reach out to new groups of learners. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the provision and capturing stakeholder and learner voice.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about progression and be able to embed employability and enterprise opportunities across the provision. You should be well organised and be able to capture data to provide evidence to support the programmes.

This post is challenging, demanding and highly rewarding. You have the opportunity to shape the provision offered in the community for a diverse range of students and will be able to see the impact this has on the students that access Community and Engagement Provision.

The ideal candidate will have teaching experience particularly with those who have additional need or vulnerability and have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to establish and grow community links.

Additional Information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
