We are calling out to talented individuals who care, want to connect to people and support your community to have the skills to stay at home following a short rehabilitation programme. We support individuals to remain independent at home following a period of illness or accident. This is a very rewarding role where you will be developed and challenged.  We are a friendly and supportive team and we will encourage and train you to be the best you can be in the job! If you have a skills or knowledge gap, we will help you fill it to perform this role.

As a Team Leader you will:

  • Support and manage a team of Support Workers
  • Key work clients
  • Oversee monitor visits.
  • Be the first point of contact for Support Workers for advice.
  • Share your knowledge or providing training sessions on key subject matters that you are a lead for. For example in Nutrition and Hydration or Infection Control. You will have time to research your lead area and support the staff being up to date through quizzes or training workshops.

Experience of working in care is vital and good IT skills are essential as you will be supporting with Duty shifts and will gain experience with using the various software and IT systems that support the effective running of our service.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
