Educational Visits Coordinator (EVC)
Every establishment should have a designated and trained EVC who will; support and promote visits and outdoor learning across all the curriculum and for all young people; ensure visits comply with policies; visits are planned, approved and evaluated; Leaders are competent; Senior leaders are kept inform of visits.
The course is valid for 3 years. Please ensure you are able to have your camera on for the training.
Prerequisites:
- Should be an experienced visit leader
- Have sufficient status to guide the working practice of colleagues
If the prerequisites are not met they will need structured access to and support from a designated colleague who meets the criteria.
Cost - SLA Fee - £140, Non SLA Fee £200

Educational Visits Coordinator (EVC) Update
Every 3 years the EVC is required to update their training. The course will focus upon specific updates to guidance and policy, provide an opportunity to share and discuss practice and concerns, workshop scenarios and look at any learning points from incidents.
Prerequisites:
- Completed the EVC training 3 years ago (or sooner)
- Please ensure you are able to have your camera on for the training
Cost - SLA Fee - £100, Non SLA Fee £150
