The day will enable participants to understand the purpose of the Mental Health Tribunal (MHT) and content of social circumstances reports. Course description | Mental ill health can affect the way a person is able to manage aspects of everyday life including how to think, feel and behave. This course will provide delegates with knowledge of some of the different mental health conditions, and some of the treatments available. |
Training objectives | Explore myth versus reality in relation to mental health. Understanding of the following conditions, the signs and symptoms and some of the treatments available: Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Bipolar disorder, Suicide and self-harm, Substance misuse, Personality disorders, Psychosis, Schizophrenia. |
