East Sussex Governors' Forum (ESGF)

The East Sussex Governors' Forum (ESGF) is an independent body whose membership represents governors of all maintained and academy schools across East Sussex.

The ESGF provides a vehicle for governors and trustees to seek and express collective views, and serves as a channel between members of East Sussex County Council and governors to help them be better informed on educational issues. The ESGF also act as a consultative governance group for the County Council and meets three times a year with County Councillors.

The ESGF promotes and leads on governor-led networking to support new governors, develop existing governors who hold the role of Chair, and facilitate discussion in governor forums.
