East Sussex Music

East Sussex Music is now part of Create Music.

Create Music provides children and young people with music lessons and activities. It is part of the Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival group, an arts charity. Create Music runs the Music Education Hub for East Sussex and Brighton and Hove.

• music lessons for instruments and singing
• orchestras
• bands
• choirs
• workshops and courses

If your family has a low income, you might be able to get help with fees for:

• group lessons
• hiring an instrument 
• joining a music centre (one instrument per child)

If you want to study music at a sixth-form college, you can look at courses at the East Sussex Academy of Music. This is at the Lewes campus of East Sussex College.
