Safeguarding children in East Sussex

The Children and Social Work Act 2017 (gov.uk) legislation sets out the way agencies should work together to safeguard children.

The East Sussex Safeguarding Children Partnership (ESSCP) website sets out how police, health, and the local authority plan to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in East Sussex.

More information is also included in the Pan Sussex Child Protection and Safeguarding Procedures Manual.
