Rother and Wealden Rural Business Grants Programme
The Rural Business Grants Programme delivers grants to rural Small or Medium Sized Enterprises (SME) in the Rother and Wealden district areas. This grant is not open to businesses located in Bexhill, Polegate and Stonecross.
Businesses can apply for grants of up to 50% of the cost of capital projects. The programme will be divided between two separate pots of funding:
- Small Grants from £2,500 to £15,000
- Large Grants from £15,000 to £35,000
Capital projects could include farm diversification projects outside of agriculture, property adaptations, creation and expansion of rural leisure and tourism businesses, new equipment, machinery and commercial vehicles.

- Application Deadline: End of September 2024
- Programme End Date: March 2025
