UK public procurement thresholds

Advertising requirements

If a contract to be tendered exceeds a fixed amount laid down by the UK Public Procurement Thresholds, it must be advertised as explained on our page Tendering thresholds and pre-qualification.

There are two parts to the advertisement:

Contract notice – a contract notice is effectively an advertisement that ensures suppliers are aware of opportunities that we will tender for work.

Award notice – after the award of a contract, an award notice is required to be published which features the name of the successful supplier.
