We have set out our proposals for delivering services in East Sussex in the current financial climate. See A core offer for East Sussex.

Rupert has a wide range of responsibilities affecting our quality of life and how we live, travel and enjoy our local environment. The department helps the Council to plan for and deliver ways to improve and make safe our highway network, plan for local development and protect our natural environment, both in our towns and rural areas. Rupert is also responsible for community services such as libraries and registrars, and overseeing the important work to strengthen our customer focus and improve access to services.
