Data Protection Subject Access Request

Use the Subject Access Request (SAR) Form below if you want to find out if the Council holds any personal information about you or someone that you are responsible for. Please email or post it to us with:

  • Two pieces of identification to prove who you are. Photocopies of original documents are acceptable.
  • Proof of entitlement to make the request. This is only if you are making the request for information about someone other than yourself (please see guidance notes on the SAR form).

Alternatively you can email your request or speak to a member of the team using the contact information at the bottom of this page.

Once we have received your request and the required identification, we aim to respond to you within one month, however there are some instances where we may need longer to respond. More information about these complex requests and accessing and managing your own information is detailed under your Data Subject Rights.
