Online training for people working in end of life care

We have set up a local project to give individuals and organisations working in East Sussex the opportunity to access and be supported in using the national End of Life Care for All – eLearning (e-ELCA) online training.

How we can help you to access the online training

The national e-ELCA online training is free and this local project is offering free advice and support to help individuals and organisations to access, implement and get the most from this end of life care training. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for a free consultation and advice on improving the skills of your staff who work, in any capacity, to help meet the needs of people nearing the end of life and their families.

How you access the e-ELCA online modules depends on where you work and what you do. To help and support you access the training, we can:

  • work with individuals or come into your organisation to help you decide which modules are appropriate
  • provide user guides and module pathway
  • help you to consider how these modules can be used as part of your continuing professional development

In addition, if you are part of an NHS organisation or a hospice and are already registered with the Skills for Care’s National Minimum Data Set for Social Care (NMDS-SC), you will have access to all 150 e-ELCA modules and we can help you register using your available registration codes. If you are not registered with NMDS-SC we can support you through the 12 e-ELCA public access modules.
