How to work safely in domiciliary care
This guidance sets out how to reduce the spread of COVID-19:
Infection prevention and control in adult social care: COVID-19 supplement
Provision of home care
The guidance infection prevention and control in adult social care: COVID-19 supplement supports the response to COVID-19 and should be read with the infection prevention and control (IPC) resource for adult social care.
Please also see adult social care testing guidance.
Updating the capacity tracker
Home care providers should aim to update the Capacity Tracker on a daily basis.
Services that send updates to their head office or to someone else to update the tracker are asked to check that the information submitted is correctly reported. Recently there have been issues where the information on the tracker is incorrect and when the service has been contacted, they are unaware of what has been reported.
