Order marriage certificates for church weddings
You can buy copies of marriage certificates for marriages which have or will take place in religious premises in East Sussex, excluding Brighton & Hove.
If you order your certificates from us, in advance of your ceremony they will be issued up to 7 days after your marriage schedule has been returned to the register office.*
Churches and other licensed religious premises can no longer issue marriage certificates.

*Posted certificates are subject to Royal Mail delivery times in addition to the stated time frame.

Your certificate(s) will be sent to the cardholder’s billing address.
