Library customers can access eBooks, eAudiobooks, eNewspapers and eMagazines and renew your loans using our online library services.

The Keep (archive centre) is open as normal.

Rubbish and recycling

Hailsham household waste and recycling site

Due to improvement works taking place until February 2023, our Hailsham site is temporarily unable to accept any hardcore or soil.

Other household waste and recycling sites

Before visiting your local site, please check the details at Rubbish and recycling in East Sussex.

Cars can attend each day, but vans and vehicles over 2 metres will only be accepted on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Van drivers need to bring a proof of address (driver’s licence or recent utility bill) and they will be subject to trade waste inspections.
