Animal Agents

The Animal Agents Summer Reading Challenge came to an end in East Sussex Libraries on Saturday 9th September.

We are delighted that nearly 8000 children took part in the Challenge and more than 5000 children managed to complete it by reading 6 library books and telling library staff and volunteers all about them to get their rewards.

Many children who finished the Challenge will be receiving their Animal Agents certificates in school assembly. We will be sending certificates to schools in the week beginning 9th October.

This year children were given the chance to enter a prize draw to win an e-reader if they managed to complete the Summer Reading Challenge. The prize draw will take place on Friday 29th September. If you are one of the lucky winners your prize will be sent directly to your home.

We really hope your children have enjoyed taking part in this year’s Challenge. You and your children can let us know what you thought of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge by filling out an Animal Agents comments slip in your library or by completing the Animal Agents survey

We would like to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers who helped us with Animal Agents this year.

Visit the Summer Reading Challenge website at any time of year for recommended books, competitions, games, author interviews, and news. You can even add your own book reviews!

Other ways to get involved

We’ll be signing up volunteers to help with next year’s Challenge in May 2018, or you can apply now to be added to the waiting list.
